Closed spelter fittings are a standard termination for cables over Ø1 1/2 inch [38.1mm]. They are also an economical choice for smaller cables when aesthetics are not a concern, or when the terminations are hidden. Their compact size compared to swaged fittings allows for installation in tight locations. Fittings are based on standardized dimensions for plate and pin sizes. Standard finishes are hot dip galvanized or bare steel, ready for blast and prime.
