Grace Farms River Building
The River Building was designed to perfectly compliment the surrounding landscape without drawing attention to itself. This design intent was maintained in the interior space, where long span glulam beams, in both the sanctuary and gymnasium, are supported with subdued hardware, maximizing emphasis on the open space below.
TriPyramid collaborated with the engineer and architect to create truss hardware which supports the required loads, but minimizes visual impact against the wooden roof structure. Extensive use of high strength steel alloys and innovative connection design allowed for reduced rod and fitting size, resulting in stunning uninterrupted spaces. Tripyramid supplied all steel truss hardware that supports the glulam beams.
