Hidden Tread Hardware for Seismic Conditions

A complex fitting of delrin washers, bronze bushings and disc springs was assembled within a stainless steel housing to allow for extreme movement during a seismic event. Glass treads are connected to the fitting via a single center bolt. The fitting is entirely hidden behind stainless steel fascia plates.
