250 West 55th St, Main Entrance Facade and Canopy

The main entrance for this 605-foot-tall tower features a two-story glass and stainless steel façade with an integrated canopy. TriPyramid worked with the design team and the glazing contractor to develop seamless structural mullions and canopy beams with cohesive glass support hardware. TriPyramid fabricated the façade structural elements by fully machining all sides of the 46-foot-long stainless steel mullions, glass capture caps and canopy beams, allowing the structure to mirror the crisp flatness of the low-iron glass façade.
