Back Stair, Apple Covent Garden
The back stairs at the Apple Covent Garden store are carefully built into a light-well feature, original to the historic building. The incorporation of modern glass and stainless steel hardware within the context of century old exposed brick construction is an important design theme in this retail space.
TriPyramid collaborated with Seele Sedak and the Apple design team to provide hardware to properly integrate the stair into the restored exposed brick wall. TriPyramid provided the titanium and stainless steel tread supports, stainless steel handrail and handrail attachment hardware and the stainless steel strap assemblies which stitch the glass stringer and balustrade panels.
