City Center LED Screen Wall, Las Vegas

This extensive, 266-foot-long screen wall is designed to provide illuminated text that appears to float in space at the valet exit of ARIA hotel and casino in Las Vegas.

TriPyramid worked with the artist to engineer a system that would perform structurally but be invisible behind the LEDs. The LED strips are housed in thin, aluminum extrusions by others, which are tied to one another from behind with horizontal stainless steel plates. The stainless plates connect back to vertical, painted steel fins hung from the ceiling. The stainless steel plates, carbon steel plates and stainless connecting hardware were machined and provided by TriPyramid.
