Exterior Stone Stair and Glass Balustrade Support System

A cantilevered deck addition creates outdoor living space for a high-end residence in Massachusetts.

TriPyramid worked with the architect and structural engineer to develop an elegant deck and stair which TriPyramid then fabricated and supplied within the owner’s budget. In the final design, a carbon steel frame supports stainless steel tread pans. The balustrade panels are suspended from a stainless steel railing with integrated balusters. The carbon steel components were galvanized before painting to prolong weather-resistance.
