Glass Entry Wall, 200 5th Avenue, NY

This glass wall was installed in an historic building on 5th Avenue. Minimal structure was essential in achieving the design objectives.

TriPyramid worked with the structural engineer and glazing contractor to develop the cable net system, designed for a retrofit in the existing entryway with minimal structural impact. The existing building hardware was bronze, so the high-strength stainless steel patch plates were bronze-plated for aesthetic consistency. The tension cables by TriPyramid are stainless steel.
