Glass Spiral Stair, Apple 14th Street Store

This two-story glass stair is installed in a restored factory building in New York City. The structure is entirely glass, stitched together with stainless and titanium fittings carefully designed and beautifully crafted.

TriPyramid worked with Apple, the architect, structural engineer, and glass fabricator from the earliest brainstorming through to manufacturing and supplying the hardware. The fittings are specifically designed to conceal the complicated mechanical components which make them work. TriPyramid manufactured all the visible stainless steel and titanium fittings which support the glass, and the stainless steel handrail.
