Massachusetts Fallen Heroes Memorial

Massachusetts Fallen Heroes is an organization dedicated to memorializing Massachusetts residents who gave their lives fighting against terrorism since September 11th 2001. The organization worked tirelessly for years to find a site, designer and to fundraise for construction of a permanent memorial. The completed project is a five sided, 50-foot tall, stainless steel tower situated in the Seaport Area of Boston.

TriPyramid Structures worked with the designer and structural engineers to perfect the hardware details used to create the memorial. The final frame is an assemblage of 1-inch-thick custom profile structural shapes, machined on all surfaces over the 50-foot length, and welded together. The weldment is then clad in stainless steel wire mesh panels. The completed structure weighs in excess of 11,000 lbs and was shipped as a single piece across the country from our plant in California. The interior cavity was filled with a network of LED lights and Titanium Nitride coated reflective panels once on site. At night, the tower becomes a beacon of golden light, calling attention to the Gold Star Families for whom the monument was created.
