Montreal Museum of Fine Arts
There are two glass-roofed areas in the Museum, each supported by tension trusses designed to minimize the visual impact of the structure.
TriPyramid worked with the architect and contractor to marry the technology of high-strength stainless steel tension rods with standard space-frame components to develop a structural system that has maximum transparency and is cost effective. TriPyramid supplied the tension rods and fittings to connect the contractor’s components.
