Twelve Oaks Mall Expansion, Canopy

This canopy creates a dramatic cover for the valet entrance to the super-regional Twelve Oaks Mall, located just outside Detroit, Michigan.

TriPyramid provided the painted steel pipe trusses including the stainless steel rod clamps at the tips of the compression struts. The standard element rod assemblies of B215 adjustable clevises and A22-625 medium strength stainless steel rods are used to tension the trusses. The welded pipe truss components were meticulously ground before paint to provide a surface exceeding typical AISC standards.
